Things have changed so much,

Yet I still long for your touch.

Why am I still here?

Suffering,

Needing,

Desiring,

Crying for you.

Where is the solace in my life?

Where is the voice that I used to hear call out to me?

Where is the love I thought I would never loose?

Things have changed so much…

Sometimes I still hear you,

Feel you,

Miss you,

Long for you,

But you are not really there, only in my mind.

Things have changed so much…

Serenity departed, now consumes me.

I know no love,

No happiness,

No dreams of that which is to become,

Of me,

Of you,

Of us…

Things have changed so much.

Invisible I wish to be,

So the people around me will not see,

How odd,

How sad,

How desperate I’ve become.

Things have changed so much.

I’ve died on the inside,

No heart to break,

No heart to heal over time.

I am lost without you.

You completed me,

But now I am only half the man,

Alone with your promises incomplete.

Things have changed so much.

I also related to this. My marriage ended this year; I thought he was my soulmate. I wonder if the pain will ever go completely. I have many blessings in my life, yet I yearn for him. Nicely penned.

Wow! I related to this somuch as the years passed beore my eyes with bad relationships. When i ell in love i would love real and hard. When it was over i elt robbed, raped and empty. I gave my mind, body and soul and it was all over. I admire your work because irelate so much. God bless.

A poetic release of emotion and a rational appeal of the heart. By giving your heart, you will find your eternal companion, Mario. Things Have Changed So Much is a channel through which illumination and inspiration flow. Strive to grow whole again.
