EMMANUEL
it is an arrogant,
prideful,
outlandish
claim
the height of human hubris
that the creator of the starry skies
the maker of a hundred million
sentient worlds
should have become a member of our
truculent race, by birth,
of all the slow, messy, undignified avenues.
an arrogant claim, indeed.
or would be if
it were not so unfathomly true .
o, the facts of the case
are not certain
there is little to confirm the stories
that luke and levi spin.
but the truth…
the essential rightness of the event
that the one whose laws of matter and energy,
formed the ever expanding cosmos
the one on
whose principles of causality
and of chaos
hangs the improbable web of life
that unites the galaxies,
that this one should,
in great humility,
come to call,
is clear.
it is precisely
what such a one
would do

| THIS is fantastic, John. Not much more I can say about something so profound. Belief. Faith. Yup. |

"The come to call is clear" -- this line sums the entire poem. Great work, John.
