For I’d already had way too much to smoke
I should have quit on the prior song
And politely passed the bong on along
But I didn’t and I whirlied out
And just damned near left my feet

When I kneel before His judgment seat?

A pill to pop, to kill the pain

I should have tossed back none of them
I taste a very nasty taste of phlem
But I did it and I still show the scar
From where my face crashed into the bar

My “friends” got me poured into my car

I shouldn’t have smoked that final fag
But the addict can’t resist a drag
I should have stomped it out instead
A foul taste is in my mouth
But I went and lit ‘er up instead
It burns my lungs – it hurts my head
And will more than likely be the reason
On the day that I drop dead
