We are walking in a wheel
breath by breath and word by word.

We are many; we are one.

We are water poured upon a thirsty people
like remembrance or the light of stars.

Our passionís fire fuels forward motion,
flaming hearts turned brittle blue.

We are fragile vessels, cracked and
chipped, made of dust and earthen clay
but bear most-treasured holy Light.

Like a mighty wind, Spirit moves
in us, through us, all around, and lifts
small sacrifice of prophecy or praise.

Centered in purpose, we share the dream
of walking and dreaming until

Step by step, we sense the quickened pace
and know the time draws near.

We are many; we are one.

We are walking in a wheel
breath by breath and word by word.

We are one, indeed; one as in spirit. This poem feels like it was birthed in meditation. Excellent.
