" Meticulous attention to detail...brings its own reward..."

.........................................................................

A million and one things could make me love you

And just as many could set us apart

Its not the way you do those things for me

But how purely they emit from your undivided heart

Selflessly you strive to keep the status quo

With not a thought for your own content

I know this hectic life can keep us disengaged

Still your timely reminders gladden my being

Suspending time on misty gossamer threads

And freshens my soul like the sight of a bluebell field

Delights from heaven couched and disguised

Blessings we take for granted frequently

Yes, little things mean a lot, when the going gets tough

Consider how the spider weaves his web

Tirelessly seeking to construct the perfect frame

Nothing comes easy amidst our trials and tribulations

Just remember its how you play the game

That really counts above all else

Kudos are given to winners and all

But what means much more, is sacred peace of mind

Peace of mind is a ceremony which comes with trees, flowers, scents, and fruits and at the same time a given sound which we practice daily as meditation. In between, we listen to talks, receive guidance on spiritual matters, have some physical exercise and we progress with meditation geared toward peace of mind checked. Thanks for the mellow lines, Peter.

There is a constant war waging in each of us and it is that peace of mind that we all crave. Bamboo trees in the pic are a pleasure to see.

Your last line brought much into perspective. Humans, as does the forest, can offer comforting shade when needed and in the balance of hings, know when to let the sun shine through. I really liked this poem; very much, so.
