Try to never leave anything kind unsaid or undone. And never…never forget to say I love you, as you approach the setting of the temporal sun.

Always Know

If from this day, and by this winters night,

I was not to see my morrow for the fading of life’s light.

I would have but one simple and sincere desire remain,

And that would be to know that I know that I lived not my days in vain.

For all that I say, and all that I do,

is to be certain of life and its hard found truths.

So as I speak now unto this reflection in which I wearily see,

I beg to these parting words to comfort and set free.

For these lines flow forth now to one that I love so true ,

Therefore it is my wish, my cry by act of these words

to acknowledge wholly my heart to you…

So it is to you my love that this I must say…

If I haven’t told you lately how much I love you,

Then please forgive my indefensible ways.

For of this neglect for there is no paltry excuse.

Therefore Leah, my love as it is…I will always be with you

For it is from my heart and soul that I can honestly say,

that it is with you, Leah in which I will always abide.

For my love for you is a golden nourishing truth

that has withstood all things through the rigorous test of time.

Yea, but now as it is, when our days begin to quietly unfold,

I have discovered that my true peace is when you, I hold.

So forgive me Leah, forgive me now sound and true …

 Always…always know in your heart

that I will never, ever leave or forsake you.

For I have been riding a violent and wicked storm

And my sails are laid now upon a broken, desolate shore.

Know this, my love that I have set it all against the ferocious wind

in and unto my loves effort to bring us together into a port of safety again.

Yea, I have done all that this mortal man could think to do

Yet still I flounder and spiral beyond the excess of my human condition.

For I can now see my days collapsing and caving swiftly in.

I can hear the echoes of their footsteps as the darkness begins.

I know of this, that by the sound of this mindful and muted tune,

that it shall not be long before the calling of my spirit

as it soars beyond eternities new found moon..

I have heard the calling and have seen the signs,

and it is within this certainty that my fate truly does loom.

So hear me now as I cry unto you this night,

that if by ever, or by yesterdays solemn never

If I per chance should in the whisper of the wind slip softly away,

know always in your heart, that I love you more than words can say.

I love you Leah, I love you so,

and nothing ever said or done will ever change

the love for you that resides in my very soul.

I love you darling…I love you so…

Grieve not my darling, for I am always with you.

Love Allen…AKA DA

This poem to Leah is so real. It eloquently says how we all get caught up in our own trials and let things slide with the ones we love. The picture is a fantastic composition and mirrors the words you cry out to Leah. The colors are soft and beautiful. You seem to have a sadness, yet a peace.

Way to go. When we approach certain phases in our lives, the real purpose of living become so very apparent. Wonder why we can't see that much earlier?
