copy'd fading images
lost in space and time
tend to haunt us as regrets
as we wring our hangs and whine

we forgot about the pattern
of intelligent design,
by an Author with a purpose
that is none-the-less divine

let us not forget the tragedy
of war and social crime
in a tarnish'd habitation
that begs once again to shine

for by arguing amongst ourselves
we spiral towards decline
and the future soon before us
will be neither yours nor mine
