Every new years the same, running from the devils flame. After 55 years, I know what to expect.

I'm the turkey in the oven,
my problems run from seven to eleven,
either put me in hell or up to heaven.
2006 hasn't even come around,
if I didn't know better,
I'd be down.
On my job the devil came,
had a pink slip with my name.
He left mad and annoyed,
because I'm still employed.

He didn't give up there,
I still feel him in the air.
One thing breaks,
the other one shakes.
After all these years encased,
I'm use to being chased.
The devil and I play a game,
it's called dodge the demons flame.

I duck and I dodge,
pray to God the devil is a mirage.
He starts to feel faint,
especially when I use holy paint.
I refuse to follow the demons orders,
it stops him from crossing my borders.
He gets stuck in limbo,
makes him feel like a bimbo.
