A revised version, structured to accentuate meaning, instead of rhyme.

Why won’t you pay
at the end of the day?
You’ve spent
all our money
without due
You’ve squandered
and wasted all
in the process.
You’ve managed
to drain us and
in the interim
squash us.

Why won’t you pay
at the end of the day?
The money
to clear your conscience
and then some.
You managed
to justify your
illicit spending
dining out
lavishing gifts on your

Why won’t you pay
the money you
lawfully owe?
The courts and Judge ordered
it split
precisely just so.
Are you stating
they didn’t know
what they were doing?
That they ordered
something unjust
and now
you’re alluding?

Why won’t you pay
for lives
you’ve destroyed?

Wasn’t your reward worth it
your women
on the side?
Have you sunk
as low
as your actions
now show?
You’re a pitiful excuse
of a man
that once had pride.

Analytical subject to be thought of - lesson to be learned -
poemized reality and emotions of life... A striking alert on social
and family matters.

I have enjoyed the reading of "Why Won’t You Pay?".

Healthy long creative life through a blissful living, Poet.

A running theme such as yours is effective for producing the real meaning of the work. Your point is well made.
