~ A Glimpse of Romance ~

(in Haiku)

fingertips sliding

tracing pleasurable paths

a familiar warmth

passionate glances

a trail of discarded clothes

words slipped into sighs

warm Lips against skin

following valleys and curves

velvet explosions

erotic whispers

escape from behind closed doors

simultaneous sighs

fire licks at them

wrapping passion in firelight

sensual splendor

remaining entwined

wearing only candlelight

dusk becomes darkness

Lovely, ravaging, soothing, passionate. I had to go back and look at the well made photo in order to cool down a bit.

I don't know if true haiku or senryu is ever presented in Japan like this--a series of haikus connected with a premise--but if not, maybe they could learn from us Americans. I have done this myself a few times.

Wonderful romantic glimpses, Carole - especially liked the last one.

Love that picture, too.
