Imagine me sitting here, looking out to the sea,
Thinking of nothing, but of you and me.
Now staring upwards towards the stars so bright,
Realising they've become one with the ships of the night.
Telling the difference between these silent two,
Can only be determined when the skies turn blue.
For when these two bodies seemingly become one,
Nothing can separate them until the morning sun.
And it is at these times when the one becomes two,
That I feel lost, and struggle with what to do.
Now I can hear the waves gentle hissing,
And realise that it's just you that I'm missing.
