I thought everything would change, but I know now I can't falter,
I was knee deep in the game, now I'm walking on water.
In subtle stalking I sought her,
And covert cuddling I caught her,
For all it is worth, this is my word that I brought her.
Finally found me a beauty, this wide-eyed cutie,
Dressed down she's astounding, done up she still suits me.
When she blew me a kiss I knew soon it was my duty,
To glide by her side and still I remain, truly,
And from these two hearts to the ground, true love will soon resound,
Drowning out the aches and pains of two souls now bound dually.
Unwind time and see if forever will find you and me,
A place to fall deeply down in blinding notions we cannot see,
And together we will develop a theme,
To live life laughing away all our silly dreams,
And staring transfixed in each other's eyes, we find a home, we can be free.
Though one day, one love may part two ways,
All that matters to this man in tatters is that I hold your heart, today.
