This is about  George Jackson. He is very sick Eileen. He had a terrible hemorage last thursday night. We rushed him to the hospital and they took him to surgery imediately. He has a HUGE ulcer on the back of his stomache. It had finally ate through the artery in his stomache and therefore the hemorage. We didn't know the ulcer was there. No pain.....no acid reflux.....nothing but that he has been very weak and ill for awhile. They got the bleeding stopped but he has had a total of 19 pints of blood and 2 frozen plasma. He is on life support and they are keeping him in a drug induced coma. He died twice on the table Eileen. God has brought him back to us twice and he is regaining a little strength every day. I believe that the more people praying....the better and right now Mike can use all the prayers he can get.

Please tell all Georges fellow writers and fans to send good thoughts his way and I will keep you informed. They are going to start weaning him from the Vent tomorrow and maybe sew up his incision Monday. They had to leave it open due to swelling. When this is over I am sure he will have some stories to tell of his own. Thank you for being there.

~~*~~

Please pray for George, if we all unite in prayer Good things can happen. I know all of you are so compassionate when one of our family needs prayer,  I thank you as does his family. I will keep you informed.

Eileen

I added this collab George and I did for those who don't remember, or haven't read it. ...................

Whispered Teardrops

A rain is falling like whispered teardrops From a sky that weeps for April, driving
Mists from the starving earth, mournful
Promises that reach my ears through a
Pane of frozen window glass, desperate
Prophecies rebuked by the heart of February
Although its days are numbered.

So I close my eyes that I may hear what
The rain foretells, ignoring as I can a
Betrayer wind that still sides with winter,
Lashing out against the inevitable coming
Of spring, howling in defiance, breath still
Cold, seeking me out with bitter determination
And cursing my existence in the eaves.

But it is the rain I give credence to, a sound
Like music, or the voice of someone well
Loved whose silence is finally broken by
An act of forgiveness, cleansing my soul
With blessed relief, breaking hidden chains
Of weighted sorrow from a heart that has
Long forgotten the meaning of renewal
But the rambunctious storms force change
Springs mighty power makes earth quake
Causes showers to  wipe the slates clean

Tumultuous wind refreshes the tired spirits
Changing attitudes so that they can soar
Coming out of their long winter doldrums
Rearing and ready to take on new challenges
Seeking new horizons to explore
Like a bee  excited to taste the new blooms
Eager Spring hearts are like drum beats
The mind dreams of magnificent feats
It climbs the mountains of possibility
Determined to make it to the  pinneacle

defeating the tortured route of winters woe
