Twins

When I was born 'twas plain to see
There were exactly two of me
I wondered "What's it all about
Being Twins"-" I soon found out

Some folks have a bit of trouble
When they think they're seeing double
In passing by they turn to stare
To check out what was really there

"You look so very much the same!
"Became to us an old refrain
"Same hair, same teeth"-the standard line
"No, hers is hers, and Mine are mine"

It's true we sometimes disagree
But friends we'll be eternally
For it's a fact one can't deny
We share a bond that "Ones" can't buy

So when I find that Mother Earth
Has welcomed in a double birth
I know now I can play the game
Called "Which is which?" and "What's your name
?"
