I have no idea where this inspiration came from, but i really like this one myself. Hope you all like it too.

I wrote this in ten minutes and as I usually do,..I have mis-spelled many words

In the scolding Arabian heat

her stands commands the wind blowing over

the bells on the sandles of her feet

wearing her black robe

her huge black eyes and thick pitch hair

is the theme that drives the

dessert air

and she is wise to the truth that it wouldn’t be , if she wasn’t there

and her expression shows

all she’s lived and all she knows

she hasn’t a worry and nor a care

she has lived in a temple of gold

and she never smiles

for in the warmth of her realm is

in reality very cold

men from boys lessons of old

and the short years of her life

have granted her ageless insight

and now wisdom is her dearest friend

there is no lover , sister , father or brother

But she has her own and

she’s a master at the practice she has honed

and she doesn’t say much but

one man heard her claim

she is never alone

the vast land of

the olived skinned and chanting hymn

is all her home

and when she needs

she moves with god speed

to do whatever she feels ,..whenever she needs

She is tall and strong

and her mind is as secure as an iron door

and her spirit

is centered on the pure

no one really knows her

place of birth

or her parents

nor can any recall who was here first

she or the land in the holy corner of the earth!

she walks on air

she dances at dawn

she celebrates the king in heaven

with her angelic song!

Young lions hunger in wait

but she has all

everything great!

who is this lady

what is her cause

whenever she is around

any thing lost is found

and people lift their heads from looking down

she is hope

she is the last thing lost and

she remains perfect at any cost!

does she exist?

Of course!

the end

Noticed the golden glow (could be "HOPE") represented in the midst of the firey tones in the sky (which could be "CONFLICT"). Very fitting write, even when I recited without the last two lines. It's a solid poem that really ends itself.
blessin's Bro. Rich,
