Behind closed eyes
Veiled from earth's sun
I'm retreating ... dreaming
Remembering?

Lo, that I could regress
Becoming young again
Oh, so young
Until I was once again ... unborn

There would I nestle
Abed in creation's womb
Adorned in spiritual array
Immersed in creation's dream

There would I flourish
Experiencing inner planes
Those sacred domains
Realms wondrously blissful

Ah, to be unborn again
To become love's thrust again
To return to when I was "pre-flesh" again
Becoming absolute spirit again

To be pristine energy
That of creative immortality
To be a thought-form in God's mind
So divine ... so sublime

At last ... I'd be home ... again

We will return, soon enough, Gwen. Our choice, to be born, to incarnate, for whatever reason, is but the acknowledgement of the relatively minute span of time that we spend in the flesh, compared to the preponderance of eternity, within which we exist as discarnate entities, integrally connected to All That Is. Wonderful, thought-expanding expression in this write. Thank you for sharing!
