The silence of my lover

Is very dear to me

For we say more when mute

Then when speaking fluently

Our garden is our lovenest

Caressed by natures sounds

We are most truly blest

As each other we surround

Soft breezes play a winsome tune

Your lips trace my bare shoulder

Soon out will come the mellow moon

I feel your mouth get bolder

 Starry night becomes our cover

Lazily we touch and explore

We  slowly seek and discover

Thrills  that  whisper  "more"

In sweet surrender face to face

Our tongues in a dance of fire

Only meteors could match the pace

As we sate  passionate desires

This is a very charged and yet controlled write, Eileen, that builds in contemplative stillness to a crescendo of - if not audible - inaudible tumult and release of energy. The most beautiful and carefully balanced picture of a shared emotional intelligence that has elegance, power and timing. A loving write of the highest order. TY Kate xx

You write the most beautiful love poems, Eileen. He should be chewing on your neck about now. You should consider putting out a book of your work. I love the garden picture too.
