Obviously the power is back was like a little kid waiting for Xmas...without it

How much we really do on it rely…

Electricity off,

Cable as well,

The wind last night knocked it to hell,

How do I write, a laptop I got, so don’t scoff…

Pouring rain, temps in the low fifties,

If it really were winter, we’d all be frozen quite nifty,

I got heat, as long as my batteries hold out,

Still after six hours with no electric, I want to shout…

Others have it worse,

No heat, no light,

A good day, other than the rain, to work,

Or read a book, snuggling with Rufuz,

Both things can ultimately make me feel quite bright…

I hate when we lose power! Last year we had it off 16 hours, longest ever here, and I thought of those in katrina type conditions and prayed. But I still hate it;-)!!! Glad it's back on, and no real loss. hey Ruf snows all gone huh?woof!

The lack of power often moves us to reconsider what we are doing, and then the power comes back on and we confidently forget what we have learnt :-)
