Circle of Life

We sit in the circle,
The circle of fire
Visions appear in our minds,
burning in the fire light
It was power we possessed
Each of us make our own circle
of birth to death
It’s complete before it starts,
reborn to die again

We feel the power
as we see the future
and the past
We are the visions
appearing in the fire light
The ashes blow into the sky
The dust of earth is stirring
Our souls arise from within
The circle of life

Dale,

I left you a message last night, but AD was updating the site so I guess it was lost in cyberspace! lol! So let me try this again...I enjoyed the read and the positive message it contains!

... Makes me think of playing with Sparklers! Adore this sharply evocative piece, Dale, and especially the atmosphere it creates... especially like "The ashes blow into the sky The dust of earth is stirring Our souls arise from within The circle of life". A crackling write, thank you! Kate xx

Beautifully written Dale. So true that we make our own circle, that's why we should be more alert to the things we take with us in the circle, so it doesn't get too crowded with junk;-)

We truly do, and the Circle of Life can be wondrous, if we allow it to be.

It's good to read your poetry again Dale. I see you're still as prolific as ever. I hope you never stop writing.
