To my friends Alexandra and Joseph as inspiration to Joseph's next photo exhibition theme of fire. May you bring into this universe, the twin flame and merge it into OneLight

Laredo Fire: The Twin Flame

She would burn,
detractors would spurn
her cowgirl outlaw
reputation,

The Light would
come to her,
kindred spirits
and pathfinders
in relation.

She would come
back as her twin
flame Laredo Fire,
to admire her
lavender fame

to make Light out
of char,
beamed down on
her from planet
afar,

stuffed it in the burn,
poured on the gasoline,
took a hellacious turn,
alchemy so clean,

she fell in to a burnin'
ring of fire,
the flames went higher,
she went down down down,
in a burning ring of fire.

The tintype photo on metal
melted and rose from the
purgatory ashes,

from the point of celestial
infinity, the thunderclap
flashes.

The photographer of mystic
light brings her to life on a
new plateau of wisdom.

There must be five hundred
people watching this photographer
work his light magic ... that's five
hundred thousand people!

Someone in the crowd says,
'Whats that for?'

And the photographer says,
'so all my friends can see
the union of one light through
the twin flame.'

Anonymous is her name.

Johnny Cash must be smiling somewhere out there. The photos nicely complement your verses, Sage. This is a very nice gift. Thank you for sharing it. Love and peace,

Sage,

Beautifully illustrated, wonderfully penned tribute to two shining stars of the Den, Joseph and Alexandra, by another (rapidly) rising star...YOU! Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

You take us right into the heart of the flame here, Sage, and the whole piece seems to have the quintessential fascination, anticipation, scent and aura of the darkroom, somehow... that's some mystique and allure you conjure! Very alchemical as well! Fascinating linkage with photography, fire and light, capturing well the mirror image. Captivating, thank you. Kate xx

What an honour, dear Sage, and what a bliss! Thank you! "The photographer of mystic
light brings her to life on a
new plateau of wisdom." - this strikes such a cord of inmost truth, flaring up and then glowing expansively, in every direction, refracting all colours and all light of the core. I'm overwhelmed by the dimension of this poetic masterpiece!
