i have not seen yet
fullest flowering of your face
where my heart waits
that mystery of your grace
to have heard on the waters
you weep & know
beyond the veil of tears,
yet more exalted spheres

here still the serpent sun
the moon & the womb
the diamond diadem
& glittering ocean
on the waves on moirai
& breath of mnemosyne

Gift of Tongues

BEATIFIC fills the reader with an enchanted sense of numinous expectancy. Each line carries one deeper into a vision of compelling revelation.

~*~ Dear Robin {hood?}... a sweeping write covering cosmic
spheres and Mother Earth's flowering verdant greening powers
and deep mysteries! Diamonds sparking and flower~faces flourishing.
The Sun and Serpent, both Creatures of Fire, are mystically One.
The Ocean's divine graces rising in waves, engulf all.
~*~ Much Love, Shivani ~*~

The picture is awesome! Looks to be painted on burlap. I mentioned painting on burlap with a sheaf of wheat in my These Boots poem. Kind of reminds me of Carnivale face in Rio, mysterious stranger that you can't attach to a face. Could even be analogous to the women who religiously cover themselves with veils. The diamond crown accents the glittering ocean indeed! I thought a lot of this Beatific, Robin. Keep on penning with that cabochon and gemstone pen. The ink is rich and the man holding it is a gift to the poetic archipelagos, that be you, Robin.
