" Work Diligently towards your Goals "

Exploit your opportunities

Maximize them to their full potential

There's a whole new world out there

Go out and make your mark

Realize now you have it in you

To be all that you can be

Its all within your reach

Create your own game plan

And let nothing throw you

If difficulties appear

Roll over the top of them

A wise man once told me

Life has its problems

You've just got to live them through

That is so very true

Adopt a winning philsophy

Ingrain resoluteness in your psyche

Persistence is the key to success

So plan your day meticiously

And systematically do your work

Make time to say your daily prayers

Regular communication with the Source

Is vital for guidance and direction

Set yourself goals and objectives

As its good for the soul to have challenges

And imperative to focus your energies

With full concentration of your mind

Be professional in all your labours

You'll earn the respect of others

And always see the funny side in things

Laughter and light heartedness makes for a happy heart

And we all know we need more of that

From what is said here, we can learn to develop our untapped potential and live out a great inner richness. Thanks for the inspiration today, Peter. A flawless memo written by a spiritual advisor we come to rely on each day for our daily pep up.

STRIVE FOR PERFECTION--That is what we do as Carmelites--I am Secular, of course,Not behind the Wall (Inclosed) but of the world but not of it. We live the simple life. I see your spirituality is much like ours ad wondering of what faith you are. I also see you are from Scotland in the UK and that interest me. But mostly I see we have much in common spiritually and I can well identify to what you write although my thoughts are much more simple. We believe in the simple life for we are simple people. In my Owl poem I say 'be all you can be; Don't you wish you could be like me' I love those encouraging words. I love the picture of the owl--wish I could get one for my little ones. I am such a bore; all I can do is to endlessly repeat "Ah! That a man's reach exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for?!" Forgive me, Browning... not even sure I have got THAT right!!?? Never mind, just gives me plenty of your last three lines, I guess! :)) Love it, thank you. Kate xx
