" Blood Is Thicker Than Water "
...................................................
Give thanks to the new born day
A promise of joys to come
Sweet the morning dew settles all around
Carpeting the meadows and fields
A song thrush warbles his melodious tune
And a refreshing wind ruffles the leaves
I lean back on the trunk of an elm
Breathing in the scent of hyacinths
Its so good to have a clear mind
Untouched by the cares of the world
I'm so glad of all the gifts that I have
I give gratitude to the Lord above
For all that he has done for me
Personal miracles throughout my life
Not to mention those ones hidden from sight
A smile lights up my face
As I remember all those lost souls so fond
Who passed on the baton to me
Parents and grandparents of mine
Teachers of right from wrong
They instilled this child with love and compassion
And as I move on through life
I'll forever hold them dear
Knowing that one day I'll see
Their kindred faces again
Great rejoicing will ring out loud and clear
And in the Lord's House we'll be of good cheer
When the Circle of Destiny is complete
