just an exercise of the mind, body, and soul when a relationship ends...

10 Ways to Mend
a Broken Heart

1

let wet tears wipe the
pain away

2

hug yourself
and embrace the
beauty within

3

remember the
good time, laughs,
and unconditional love
that flowed

4

turn on your favorite
song and belt it out
until your neighbors
come join you as you jam

5

wiggle your toes in your
bedroom while you giggle
on the phone with a friend

6

go treat yourself to a
night on the town,
a great restaurant,
movies, and your favorite
drink

7

delete all memories of that
person, yes, that means, getting
ride of emails, pictures, journals
or anything that reminds you of that person; let it go, cause it's over

8
breath, be still and allow yourself
to meditate, as you re-center yourself, and embrace the melting of the pain

9

stop calling that person; emailing that person; and trying to raise the dead; when it’s over, its over!

10

look in the mirror and tell yourself,
“Too bad they missed out on a good thing!”and believe it, own it, and love the essence of you because you do shine and you're much better off without that dead weight of a person!

...and don't forget, ice cream and cheesecake...always good things to allow yourself as prizes when you realize you are a unique gem and someone else is a true buffoon, never worthy of your praises or your heart!!! Excellent advice in this poem, MS.
Take care,
Sherry
