...because I remember and because it is where I want to be. D.

How radiant shines
that light whose streams burst
the dam of despair and flood
the familiar room full with
love’s rising hope.

See how it gathers –
flowing in from roads
long since traveled, pushing through
the pinhole crack of soul
where all the faith

That’s left is enough,
to fill the basket of days
and light twelve candles for
those yet on their way.

Reminds me of the parable of the loaves and five fish, Dawn... just ADORE your image of "the basket of days"... have made a mental note that you have spoken of such somewhere before, haven't you... and I loved it then, too! :)) Fantastic image of love's rising hope gathering and flowing in from roads long since travelled, too... I can really SEE that! Reminds me of the Isaiah scripture which says "How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings Good News!" Thank you for this trumpet blast of feel-good this evening! LOL Kate xx You have indeed been missed. The sun is returning, even here in England methinks!! :))
