" No News Is Good News "

................................................

Down on my hands and knees

In deep prayer and contemplation

I see The Eternal with all Humility

To know your place in this World

Is the Grand Leveller of Pride and Prejudice

The utter futility of modern day living

Is fully exposed

For the Folly that it is

Secular and Detached

From Humanity and Love

My Soul burns within me

At the Injustice of it All

The Brazen Politician

Who decrees God is Dead

And the Consumer is King

The Harlot Preacher

Who seeks to divide the Flock

The Warped Physician

Who decides who lives or dies

The Crazed Zealot

Who atomizes The Innocent

Disgust and disdain

Fill my gut

I no longer want to be part of it

In Supplication I seek his Face

And call My Lord, lets usher in

Your Vengeance and Wrath

Upon them All

With Sackloth and Ashes

I rend my clothes

Be done to them

As you did of Old

And bring about

The Return of the King

Unleash The Horsemen

Across the Plains

And spark the Conflagration

That will End it Now

Deep in the Valley of Megiddo

Very powerful indeed...matches the verse in "a part of me" that says rage is being released as the world below burns

Petter the expressions here are powerful and frightful for those that have been blinded and unknowing thank you for this post.

A powerfully expressed and inspired piece Peter, that is laden with sagacious spirtuality and truth.

This concept, "Unleash The Horsemen Across the Plains" packs a Prairie Fire gun of spiritual ammunition, Peter! Anyone that would disbelief the righteous message in this would be "drawn" upon in an argument of the Devil's worst kind! Evil, to Hell with you!

Powerful, inspired, truth! How can we keep condoning the life style that is so prevalent today! By our silence we show acceptance. Bless you for being one to speak out! That you do so shows the blessed assurance that lives in you! Amen!!! Thank you Peter!

Bravo, Peter! Powerfully and well stated! I too, often feel the same as you. Evil and wrong doing is so widely spread and embraced amongst us, yet perhaps so far, God has spared us for the sake of "a few righteous men/women." I pray for a better today and tomorrow, and for God's mercy.

It so very sadly seems more and more like a folly to me, too, Peter, on too many days lately. It also seems to me more and more that the Day of Reckoning may be coming sooner than many care to believe.

Well said Peter, peoples minds have been sold a bill of goods that will surely lead them to hell unless they repent of their evil ways and know that we cannot hide these things from an all loving and seeing God who meters out just punishment for the evil we do. We have to pray to God that He will spare us His condemnation at the day of judgment and beg Him for His forgiveness.
