"Born of the water which powers the mill"

Testament of Succession

The one who lifts me from obscurity
Is now the son who once was named for me

The name my mother gave me is rising
Floating to the sun from the ocean floor
As life triumphs at the last surprising
Death and chasing it away from this door
A dusk a dawn and then the noon shall see
The wheel turn for a generation more

My son remember one who loved you so
And break the surface of the sea to soar
Go tell the world that secret we both know
Gift of my mother given once before
With you as with me wherever you go
Witness my hand and understand my will

The one who lifts me from obscurity
Born of the water which powers the mill
Is now the son who once was named for me
The wheel my mother turned is turning still

Yes succession is such big part of the human soul and without it we are as the animals mindless and souless and when the end comes so much sand in the wind.
