A piece written for a contest using the following words - reflect, blew, chances, yesterday, promise, tomorrow, time, and ticking

Sitting quiet
Reflect on love
Heart broken
Chances spent
Life I blew.

Heart broken
Yesterday’s promise
Sitting quiet
Spent chances
Wish I knew.

Spent chances
Tomorrow’s game
Time passing
Ticking loudly
Love has gone.

Great to know that you are not retiring!

This poem is not your usual style, but it is nicely-written. Enjoyed!
