Riding the winds of change
feeling the breath of death

Mood swing from holy to hellish
 in a matter of moments

The powers and principalities dominate
the veil between them is getting thinner

Intricately woven threads of promise
too  easily unravel

Demons have more freedom to attack
now the hand of  grace is being retrieved

Be careful of gifts that come wrapped
in golden glitter, they may contain
fools gold within

Time is revealing  its real intent
Letting universe know whose boss

You paint a grim picture of the duality and uncertainty of modern day living Eileen, that fluctuates between the poles of awareness and horror !
The ambivalence of these days leads you to think we are undoubtedly enduring the End Times !

Captivating, deep thoughts though, I'd like to say, there is a kind of "time" which is an illusion and there is another time -unlike that which we perceive time to be- which is eternity dwelling in itself.
This is the absolute, changing only in the changing of the eye beholding it.

The only thing certain in this world of uncertainty, is the breath of death that we will all face. However, we both know that by no longer being vigilant we are only forcing our hands way too obviously.
I've heard life as being in a poker game...but at the rate we are going..the game is going to be over before the cards are even dealt.
It's a damn scary thought...but we've done it eyes wide open. They say 9/11 was a fluke...that the terrorists gained alot more destruction than even they thought possible...well...because we as a nation are so unresponsive and so eager to 'move on' with our lives... they now know that they can actually plan another 'fluke' and get away with it. Plan they are; and kill they will..Fluke? It won't have to be..they can send their feaux gold boxes and we'll open them like a box of candies.'s a damn scary thought. I don't think people understand the breath of forever.
