Wouldn't be humor, but it turned out to be...

Almost lost my job,

Nothing I could do but sob,

Was my own fault,

Would have had to get a job,

Serving at the local counter a malt…

I did not call out for three days,

I was sick so I thought they would understand my ways,

But a no call/no show brought about problems they did say,

Its in the handbook, you should’ve known, of the company & their ways…

So I talked to the HR lady,

She was nice but firm,

Fortunately she did keep me employed,

If I were her, I would have called me a worm…

Ed,

You learned a valuable lesson in all of this; don't berate yourself. Hold your head up and thank God you weren't canned. Now: that pic. Why are you wearing a Texas cowboy hat? *grins*

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
