"Compassion "
{ revised  }

With deep compassion my thoughts wander
As my heart yearns for you my love
Alone in this time of my life
Time by myself… to my thoughts
Awake in the middle of the night
Secretly, nobody noticing…
Not even you…naked to God
As I sit here beside the window… waiting
My thoughts wander to where hope is eternal
And reality ephemeral
Even though it’s dark outside
I can see the sunshine from here
As I search for peace of mind
Now that I know love so beautiful and kind
And the mutual understanding
That a love so true could make me feel blue
The compassion in your heart
Fills me with such passionate thoughts
Thoughts so beautiful... a tear just pops up
A tear of joy… knowing you love me
With a love so pure and gentle
Forever and a day
I know we will stay true to our feelings
Feelings so true
A love blessed by God

The ability to feel compassion and act accordingly is what separates man from lower and some higher life forms. It is one of the main properties of Love, our source and destiny.

That probably is the best place for all of our thoughts to wander, Tinky - otherwise life can truly be too sad - for all of us.
