Oh love that toucheth, e’en the soul of me With fervent fingertips Trace the lines of my existence And let me breathe between thy lips
Hold me locked in cosseted embrace With tendrils taught and tied Forever bound in eternal ardor Passions light as unremitting guide
Oh my love, which grants me peace Where comfort lies in wait Whisper words forever sovereign At last, to consummate
Symbol of our eternity We place upon our hand Committed to our path of light We pledge our troth before the land
Take me to thy heart to lie Oh my beloved soul For we have floundered far too long To reach our journey’s goal
For if thou wouldst be my love This vow, I so revere To honour, cherish and adore you That you may know YOUR peace is here

"Evermore"... This poem is a painting with multi-colors of of true love in eternity. It gives this reader a message that I translate as: When a soul synchronizes wonders – gratitude flows in One´s life – and love glows making the heart pump Ichor to live the eternity of togetherness in the receiving-giving of
blissful emotions and dreams.
I salute You, Sublime Poet!

Kristian,
Your words have a Shakespearian ( don't know if I spelt that right ) feel to them. Love your writing. Made me think of " Romeo and Juliet " |
