Coffee perked is no better than instant
That's your opinion, I disagree

Some things are better done slowly
Today all we want is quickies

It takes the pleasure out of many things
I don't like our instant society

You like instant  European, I like brewed Colombian, must we argue

Can't we just sample each others and smile
We could cuddle nice for a little while

As we take sips giving our choices
Enough time to savor the taste

But no, you must have your instant fix
Saying I should be satisfied with the quickie

Then leave me with cold coffee grounds

me on radio

I live in an area that has a store called a WAWA, kinda like a 7-11 but much, much better...they have a cappacino machine that makes both latte (caffeine drink) and creamers (just a milky substance without caffeine), and the creamers are delicious...Myself I mix in a bit of caramel coffee, maybe a half cup then top it off with a caramel creamer...damn thats good coffee, such as it is mostly not, LOL! Oh, I really didn't "get" it the way Sherry did, I assumed you were only talking about how life has metamporpsed(sp) into the fast track about everything. But I haven't time to discuss it, I'm late for . . .

It is sad that someone needs be so controlling that you must do things his way or no way at all. That "My way or the highway" mentatlity leads to a lonly existance. This person is what I would openly call a "loser;" he not only missed out on a wonderful time with you, I am certain he has lost out on a whole lot else in life as well. Trust me, you are much better off with your cold coffee grounds than his "holier than thou" attitude. Watta jerk!!!!
Take care,

Makes me think of bacon. Slowly frying up in the pan; sizzling away, touching the nose before the stomach. And then there are many that prefer to put it into a microwave for a few seconds so they can have their rubber. But then again some quickies are quite fun ;-) The message within this write is quick clear and is quick for the reader to pick up as you slowly add depth to it. Great write.
