my second try at Jerry's septcouplet. Hope it's okay this time Jer!;-)

as the infusion of indelible ink
imprints your dna in me
I shiver in anticipation of
becoming you
as mine is already infused
you describe it divine

glistening glow
celestial flow

how to relate the ecstasy
growing inside like fire
igniting senses with indescribable
energy evolving into
exhilerating euphoria
for eternity

intrepid trips
in new starships

we are the prototype for united couples
in the new universe
and will serve in  unknown galaxies
bringing to fruition ways
under Creators plans
to all who will populate new planets

galactic saints
no more restraints

some already in evidence
by many of the celestial audience
that have waited for eons
to emerge into the now of all time
without past or future
but always in the present

perfected how
of always now

we are joined in such a way
that no one ever dreamed of
and as we become each other
while remaining ourselves
we create a new vocabulary
to describe our feelings~

to new nations
gift creations

we are told it will be  soon
we delight in the news
elated to know we will have new words
to compose our poetry
we can't imagine feeling
more excited than we do now

soar together
muses weather

with this new knowledge
as we celebrate our uniqueness
with glorious glee
feeling most sublime and happy
we are now ready to
assume  our roles in new realms

dreamscape of love
in peace above

To hell with the form, thi one rises above the norm with the hint of a new race created for outer space.

Have to admire this wonderful attempt - nay! - SUCCESS at writing to form, Eileen. And the subject matter is fascinating. Have never been into sci-fi much... but this kind of Clark Kent and Lois Lane stuff is highly appealing! Very well done, thank you. LOL Kate xx

After I read this beautiful piece, I checked to see what the Master, Jerry said. I'm glad it meets with his approval. I admire you for trying and succeeding at this. Your words are magnificant.

Sounds marvelous, Tiger Lily. Are you Peter's new partner on his epic Sojourn to Mars??!!

I am honored and impressed, Eileen, that you and Kara saw fit to tackle the seprcouplet, and see, it wasn'tt as difficult as first imagined. It'll grow on you, maybe. Thank you for giving me the upfront kudos.

You mastered the septcouplet, brilliantly, Eileen. It is not as easy as it looks, though I found the free verse portion to allow a lot of flexibility. Beautiful poem I am sure Jerry will be delighted.
Take care,
Sherry
