On February 5, 2000, a truly wonderful young lady left this world. At the age of 18 years, she had a rare heart defect. Andrea Marie Scherling, was a lot more then Brad's girlfriend. She was a friend to everyone she ever met. I truly believe she knew her time in this world would be short, so she lived it with love and happiness... |

It's been six years,
yet... time seems
like it was yesterday.
Wonderful memories
will always guide us
and lead us...
We all know
that we were blest...
a vibrant smile,
a warmth shown
by an enlightened
spiritual presence.
It's been six years
since Andrea Marie left
and it's been six years
since an angel
entered our lives
We've been blest
more then once
for we know
by our side...
she will stay

Sweet and lovely tribute.
Some angels only need a few years to make their mark on the world. She sounds as if she was one of them. |

Dave this is a beautiful remembrance of what had to be a sorrowful trial especially for your son! Such a beautiful angel even more lovely now as she stays by your side. Splendid poem, thanks for sharing!

| Ah, God bless, Dave. After the worst of losing a loved one passes, I thank God for giving them to us for the time we had with them. The young ones are the hardest with which to reconcile. Hugs. |

A beautiful sentimental write to as you say was taken far too young from this world. She has from what you have written in this tribute earned her wings and no doubt flies with the angels now.

A most bittersweet write, Dave. It seems so unfair when the young ones get called, but the impression that they leave on our lives lasts through all of our days. You were indeed blessed, thank you for sharing Andrea Marie's light with us.
Take care,
Sherry |
