It’s a good night for walking

A good night for talking with the stars

A good night to lose oneself within the stream of being alive
Only to find you’ve remembered what you always knew,
The light above is within you

It’s a good night for dreaming

A good night to envision the vision of being designed
By the ultimate dreamer

A good night to be awakened by the processor of memory
And compose a poem
Authorized by the author
Who has written everything ever transcribed

It’s a good night to flourish within the darkness
And seek the sun moving on the other side of the moon
Not to be eclipsed by the motion of their origin

It’s a good night to see there isn’t a day
That has yet to be scribed

Yes it is a good night for all those things..

Has the timeless expansiveness of the view of a Captain leaning over the railings at the prow of his ship and seeing a balmy black ocean stretching away into infinity. Reminds me of the easy peace, harmony and the "all's well with the world" that Potent Sleep has. I love the thoughts that are conjured, flirting with ideas of liberating freedoms that yet perhaps exist within notions of predestination or predetermination. A good night indeed, Jude... and I reckon you are singing here!! Or at the very least, humming...!! :)) Fine contentment that is soothing. TY, K xx

Such inner harmony of the lead poet's mind. He is giving us what we want because he wants what is inspirationally best for us. So he has scribed it for us. He has a greater way of turning you into a better person. Thanks Jude.

Perfect, Robert. And the light is within us.
Keeping others from trying to snuff it out is the real test.
Beautifully said.

It feels like the authors spirit is frustrated at being limited within the confines of a human body.
Keep soaring Scribe. My vocabulary at this time of night, is too stunted to reveal the images this provokes..

As a night owl I do most of my thinking after dark. I find pleasure in the darkness and the moonlight. You have captured that so well in this piece. Great Job, Jude

The way you write it, it is always a good night indeed.

Have you ever experienced a truly blissful moment, where even though it is night, in your heart all you feel is sunshine? This poem reminds me of that moment.

You started with a grain of sand and you built a mountain with this wonderfully enlightening and inspiring offering, Jude. It is hard to know if we are a figment of someone elses imagination, if everything is a figment of ours or if we are a collective imaginative force, (I like the feeling of the latter) but no matter, each day is scribed in its own perfection as it unfolds before us and each of us will find a different meaning and beauty within it.
Take care,
Sherry
