" Turn the silver over in your pocket for luck, when you see the new moon "
........................................................................
Don't fall in love with me
For I'm a gypsy boy at heart
I've always been a loner
Right from the very start
I've never let anyone in
To compromise my heart
And I've never let anyone go, without a piece of me
For my own self protection
Instinctively I'll keep you at bay
I guard my heart with constant vigil
Because it means so much to me
For a child of the divine,
Always stands alone
The prairie is my playground
The yipping coyote is my friend
I run across the river
And never get my feet wet
Slipping and sliding over the waterfall
My humour knows no bounds
I take the world by storm
And shake it to its lintels
Darting along the walls and dykes
I never like to stand still
So standing here before you
A wild wild angel I have always been
Present in this time, but not of this world
I am an ilk of a different kind
I live for every vital moment
I always see the up side of life
Money don't mean a thing to me
Its mutual friendship every time
So don't bore me with your penthouse
Don't try to buy my love
Stocks and shares are not my thing
Spiritual food I crave
You can keep your flash ferrari
And your status symbols so fine
Just give me some old time country music
Hank Williams every time
So hitch up honey to my wagon
If you can stand the furious pace
I'll love you until forever
With all my power and might
We'll sing and dance to the cows come home
And evolve together each day
You'll never have cause to doubt me
For we'll smile our cares away
Serenading all our sunsets
And listening for the crack of dawn
Running barefoot in the bayou
With the full moon at our backs
We'll roam the whispering sands
Sojourn in the towering canyons
We'll grow young together in style
...Now there's something you didn't expect...
