Keep hanging in there, baby.

For all last month,
The winter's days,
Were warm and comfy,
'Most always

But February
Brought on change
With temperatures
In freezing range

Where polar bears
Are more at home.
For us, it's much
Too cold to roam.

So here I sit
Inside our flat
And wonder where
The warm air's at.

But average temps
Are going up
And ice won't always
Fill my cup.

Spring will soon
Come here and stay
Yes, we'll get warm
Some time in May.

So pox upon
Those weather mystics
Comfort me
With warm statistics.

i agree ... the weather mystics said NY would get about 6-12 inches of snow ... so far there is 2 feet ...

You should send this to your local weatherman or newspaper. I bet they'd print it. It's hope for an early spring. Now what about that groundhog? I'm afraid he "did you wrong"!

Smiling in sunny CA! You know, you can always come home.

You want warm...ha...come to the desert in the summer. Your sneakers melt into the asphalt. Hot sand storms can strip the paint off cars and erode mountians.

Cute poem...reminds me of living in the East and getting very tired of winter, myself.

Not here. Chilly, but not cold. At least, not yet. A "major" cold wave expected here by the weekend. YEAH RIGHT--I'll see it when it gets here (and then whine, because it's too cold and windy LOL).

Everyone gripes at the weather. As my Daddy says, "The weather's gonna do, what the weather's gonna do, so there's no use worrying about it." Still, I feel better when I whine......

An excellent poem--hope you warm up soon. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, karla.

Warm air. Cold air. Wet. Dry. Hot. I do believe if we couldn't bi**h about the weather we would lose it. The same thing every year, without fail, pray for the heat and humidity to go away and then pray for the cold which answered your prayers. Not picking on you, Henry, just musing aloud. The poem was well done, It's just me I guess. The weather is the weather.

I loved this; I could use some cold weather here in Texas. It's been incredibly dry and mild; we are in the middle of a severe drought. Send us some, y'hear?? *grins* Well done, Hank!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
