Painting the Town

Painting the Town…

No need for a frown,

What color do I pick,

Perhaps a chartreuse,

Or maybe better yet a chocolate mousse…?

Red makes some angry,

Blue is relaxing and stress free,

Green is already in Nature,

Black the color of death, won’t you agree…?

Another old saying,

Where it did come from I know not,

Passed down through the ages,

Give us by those few sages…

Maybe to rhyme,

We should paint our town,

With an upside down frown,

In the color of a natural brown…

The thing about painting the town...any color...is it takes two weeks to put on the second coat after age 30. (smiles)

I enjoy your work.
