Resurrected Soul
My soul
Who holds my breath my being
Loosing my soul was destiny ordained
But still my heart beats, body worked, relentlessly,
At one point I paused, searched myself
For the substance, my soul, my heart
The smile I had, bright and hearty
Which lighted up my soul?
Gave way to darkness, remorse
Agitations and insecurities
Which rolled down like tears, uncontrolled?
Then came the wind of friendship
Which swept me off from my feet?
‘Why worry, when you have friend’
The care and love of friendship
‘My shoulder, always ready for your worries and tears’
The reassurance.
I poured out my life to those ears
Churned out my feelings,
Entangled in those web of confused feelings
I found my soul,
My heart sang, my soul rejoiced
With that tune of life and smile
My life was back on track
So also my soul
My resurrection began.
