Love is lonely,
When one feels his is only,
He loves her the best he can,
In front of his face she dangles it,
With only known to herself a plan…
Painful is love,
It fits him like the proverbial glove,
For him she is he lady, his beloved,
She does eventually off a cliff him shove…
In death he watches her, his millions spend,
Young suitors by the hundreds do themselves debase,
After her money, her body secondary, they do condescend,
They think they found their mark, but die in the bitter end,
Once death does them overtake, to the other side they transcend…
See her for what she is,
A lonely, rich bitch, killing each,
So for now, with her money and looks,
Her men she keeps just out of reach,
Dangling in front of their noses,
A future that she does for their sake pretend…

| Lust Is Lonely would be a better title. It seems people "fall" in love with another person because of what that other person can "do" for them, not the other way around. I know this is true, been there, done that. Trouble begins early on when one or both of the marriage of lust begins to see that their partner is in it for themselves as well. "Falling in love" should be changed to "falling in us." THEN, the divorce lawyers would have to go on welfare. |
