Laughing and crying can be a personal decision, depending on the person.

For almost 30 some years,
I've laughed more than I shed tears.
My condition really isn't funny,
it should make my eyes runny.
Nothing wrong with crying,
we all will do it before dying.

If I saw someone else laughing at me,
it wouldn't exactly fill my heart with glee.
But still I laugh at myself constantly,
then shake my head honestly.
Mostly in disbelief of my situation,
knowing some almost caused me elimination.

But we live to die,
might as well laugh instead of cry.
Each day I fill in the gaps,
holes left by some of lifes traps.
Actually it makes me happy,
that my situation didn't make me
totally crappy.

Mean and evil,
wishing up the devil,
On those transgressors,
who were my suppressors.
Revenge just isn't my cup of tea,
it's just not for me.

G

I try to do the same! And I truly feel sorry for those - who cannot laugh at themselves - I think their stuffed egos get in the way.
