Good morning everyone
Somehow this seemed appropriate for a Sunday morning. A gentle bump into the day.
Whispering winds swirl quietly over open fields,
While morning light blooms reaching into today,
As small animals glance into the valley shields
And shadowy mountains tower over this way.
Melting liquid blazes between deer ponds steep,
While the dewy moistures burns off in the sun,
As a lamb lay gently nourishing his hunger deep
And a pair of red foxes play happily for everyone.
Rustling above ground as a meadowlark calls,
While a bright ball glistens invitingly overhead,
As white tailed deer awaken from picket stalls
And red-breasted robins stir sleepily from bed.
Daybreak, a gentle time on good old mother earth
…a time for sharing, snuggling, and giving birth.
