The morning sun had set
now the night would beget
the sparkling stars that shine
speaking to this heart of mine

Where art thou Lord of dreams
I watch the ethereal streams of
haunted souls go by bringing
tears to my eyes for all of their
needs

For I am not content until I get
consent to enter the depths of
discernment to learn the measure
of your design so that you may
define my deeds

The systems of the world are meeting
manic minds whose  schemes to  lay
waste, is  causing hell in haste ,as the
liars who live in lairs, hurry to get
away from the truth that scares

Can the common sense of some
save the ignorant and numb, that
tune out from what lies before us
hoping the trials  will go away
while living in a a world of denial

Must the past be repeated, by the
indifferent who will retreat, allowing
things to pass them by without even
a try to understand or know how to
help before this show destroys man

sadly things have not changed since you scribed these sage words, eileen. horrible conflicts engulf our beautiful planet; as one
hotspot "cools" another erupts...
when will "they" (ruling military-industrial elite) ever learn?
peace & blessings,

Prophetic intensity and soulful grace create a profound tapesty of spiritual testimony within the lines of A WORLD IN DENIAL. Informative, enjoyable, and empowering.

I think humanity is basically lazy. We can see better with our eyes closed. Your words hit home.

Must the past be repeated?

Sadly, it seems that it always is. History tells us that man, indeed, is a creature of war, and probably always will be until it eventually destroys us all.

Eileen,
I've the feeling this war will carry on until our demise, but then I'm also almost sure that we won't go out alone. Things seem to be deteriorating before our very eyes, for those that choose to stand on the other side, refuse to see that things are the way they are because they are extremists being extreme. Religious finatics being fanatical. Over what now? Cartoons of all things! Just call me hardnosed I guess, but I just don't believe for a second that those cartoons have anything at all to do with anything...I believe again they are looking for something to raise their danders and that was the first thing that came up.
Crazy bullcrap..that's all it is. They don't want peace and if they had it they wouldn't know what to do with it. Terrorists terrorize...and peace won't gitter' dun.

Excellent write Eileen.

Stand and cheer for this piece of literary expertise. You have got things pretty well organized inside the limits of this structure, and you kicked a** when you strung the words together.

Quite a poem to ponder over Eileen,
most men live in denial,
until they almost face the jury trial.
Quite a few are evil,
easy targets for the devil.

But the world goes on,
with God's love acting upon.
Any who give up hope,
becomes the devils dope,
so goes their scope.

The way it looks now we sure are on a path that leads to another war thanks to maniacs in the Mid East.

Very well written truth, Eileen. Surely these are the last days, but they could go on for thousands of years. I hope not. Thank you for your continuing faith and willingness to step out there.

So true; these are certainly the last days. Come, Lord Jesus!

The apathy that abounds is frightening and the acceptance of responsibility for one's actions and words, becoming non-existant. Everyone seems to be blaming someone for everything and it is never themseves. What kind of a world do we leave to our children and grandchildren and what do we teach them by our actions? Excellent, in your face, write, Eileen.
Take care,
Sherry

Eileen,

Sad how bad our world has become; it it a sign of the Lord's coming; and soon, this will be at an end, and peace will finally reign on our planet. One can only hope it is soon! Powerful stuff; very well done!

How very true, and very well said Eileen
You have the courage of your convictions as ever, and like the Old Testament Prophet of Old you call on the Lord to requit the injustices in our God Forsaken World !
Someone has to say it, and you never shirk your obligations
