Strangers by Barbara Lynn Terry
This is for my sisters, whom I love so dearly, with all of my heart.
Once the best of friends, Now strangers to each other, With one trying to make amends, Never knowing what is wrong, Never knowing when she'll see the other. Once like sisters, Now strangers in this world, Cause one a male, wishes to be a girl, Never knowing if they can still be friends, While she tries hard, to make amends. With her sisters, refusing to understand her, They are no longer speaking. Places they once were, Places they once knew, Never knowing if they will ever show. Now she is like a stranger, To those she loves so dearly, With all of her heart.

| Oh how I wish that I could see my brothers and sisters face that I've never seen before. That day would be a day that I might pass out from. Family today just dont love and stick together anymore and this is in the bible as it has come to pass. Everyone judges and goes against each other for all types of reasons but you have found a new family here at the den. Love you, Aleja |

Barbie,
How I know the feeling well--have two elder sisters who don't give a rip whether I live or die. I still love 'em, have forgiven them, but dang...the hurt doesn't go away. Profoundly moving, heartbreaking poetry.
((((HUGS)))) and love, Karla. |

Barbie,
So heartbreaking; it is so hard when family members aren't close. I know that all too well. Very well done!
(((HUGS))), love, and many prayers, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears < |
