The Dopamine has subsided
we couldn’t have kept up the pace.
Our chemistry has rearranged
and Endorphins have taken their place.

We’re on a slow and easy ride now.
Our love is solid and calm,
thanks to serotonin we’re happy
lying in each other’s arms.

I went in the kitchen this morning
and found Reese’s Cups and a card.
Chocolate for breakfast and beautiful words,
Theobromide and you fill my heart!

Outstanding composition wit-wise wonderful!
"Two Brains are Better Than One" has paid its due to the treasury of Poetry, and shall glow as a platinum page through the millennia.

It is a privilege to read the works of a Poet of Your magnitude.

Keep Your quills dancing, Poet! Never rest Your pen.

In reverent admiration.

Caffeine to wake me up or alchohol to slow me down... guess they're similarly applied to these other named brands! But ENDORPHINS are just GREAT and what a way to go!! Should be called Endolphins in my book! As long as you don't put bromide in his tea, reckon Valentine's may be a 365-day a year experience in the Brice Parker household!?? And guess Reese's are your equivalent of our Cadbury's... for breakfast is just ASKING for trouble! :)) LOL Kate xx
