Every poet is a dreamer

Every poet
is a dreamer,
and therein
lies, the true
metre of
his gleam.
From the skinny
lame poet
sketching an emblem
of his legs
with the dust
of his hope
in the grimy mud
of his trodden fate
amidst razing
Maoist conflict,
and King’s obstinacy
near the holy drains
of river Bagmati,
in Kathmandu,
to the celebrated
Poet’s poet
walking out to recite
his masterpiece at the,
pristine banks of river Thames,
dreams of dream,
and their dream lies
in striving for perfection,
in stretching themselves
to the limits of their potentials
to push back the limits
of the impossible,
and bail the society out
from quagmire of crises
pondering over alternatives correctively.
