wanka or wang'ka...from the Yip people of upper Bo...(no kidding ;-)

A wanka consists of 4 lines with a fixed 2-5-2-5 syllable pattern plus a detached final line which may be of any length though it is generally expected to be short. Can be done single or in chain like haiku...

under
the awesome Oak trees
humbled
with admiration

eyes that see, but are blind, call them an accident!

listen
the wind is singing
through them
of their creation

Spirit wind speaks through leaves of Creator's Oak image!

This is an interesting style. You choose the right wrods to complete each thought to fit it. I don't know if I could do that.

A beautiful and flowing style that works well with such a tranquil nature scene and poem. Great job...I never heard of this style before, but then, I never studied poetry, so there you go!!
Take care,
Sherry

Reads beautifully, and the picture is gorgeous. Reminds of the Allee of Oaks. Not familiar with the style, but love it.
