Within the realm of life’s choices,
decisions are reached in our mind,
made by listening to inner voices,
our conscience keeps us in time.
Actions result in both good and bad,
often times in life, we fail to hear,
climaxing in consequences so sad,
and where evil lurks, we shed a tear.
Life’ is but an enigma of the soul,
thoughts confused by human desire,
clouded judgement takes it’s toll,
causing misery’s destructive fire.
Minds mystified with confusion,
values lost in self righteous gain,
wealth is really only an illusion,
bringing heartache’s eternal pain.
Choices are the spirit’s only task,
listening, the answers can be found,
solutions to the questions we ask,
found in joy, and love, so profound.
