Four dayz

I feel as if I'm losing my place;

Watching the clock slowly tick by.

Another day is drifting by,

Another year fading away.

And still you stay silent.

So I just stumble through today;

Fumbling with these words

That just don't want to leave yours behind,

The way they left mine.

And these silent screams still find their way to me.

Carried by the dust and glass

Which sat on all these broken dreams.

Four days....

Till I am home again...

Drifting through these faint old hallways.

Your sentiments come through powerfully in these verses, John. Love, peace, and strength to you,

Wow, John.
I'm glad you are coming home.
Nice work, too.

I hope poetry is the healing force for you that it is for me.
But it does fall short. Just something about putting pain out there.
